John Joyner wins The Kraken "Best Supporting Actor In A Short Film"

This past weekend at the Kraken International Film Festival...

Sir Ian McKellan WON the Award for Best Actor in a Feature Film.

Reginald VelJohnson WON the Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film.

and.....

Our very own John Joyner, for his performance of "The Forgotten" in Slumber Party's NIGHTMARE, WON the Award for Best Supporting Actor in Short Film.

John Joyner truly deserves this award, and brought his own unique and sophisticated brand of talent to NIGHTMARE. He was the first and only choice for the role of The Forgotten, here is why.

This role was 100% Improvised by John Joyner himself!!! HE WROTE the monologue. HE created the character's back story and movements. HE decided on his own wardrobe and style. The ONLY direction he was given for the role was that he had to end the monologue screaming "I don't know who I am!!" Everything else was entirely John Joyner's creation, and to the extent that NOBODY in the cast or crew knew what he is going to do or say before we shot THE FIRST TAKE!!!!!

He was first and only choice because director Christopher Eric Outridge knew that he was the only one who could handle such a creatively open and demanding role, and it is only fitting that John Joyner takes home Slumber Party's and CEO FILM PRODUCTION's first ACTING AWARD!!!

CEO FILM PRODUCTIONS is honored to announce John Joyner, Best Supporting Actor In A Short Film at the Kraken International Film Festival.

Thank you John Joyner.
